Proud Mommy Moment

It's always a proud moment to see your children get recognized for their hard work isn't it? Jessica received two awards for math and reading academic achievement. Sophia recieved one for academic achievement in math of all subjects....she doens't like math =0 And Iliana....... well, if you know Iliana, you know that we're just thankful, she's passing her classes. She's something else, that girl. But she's still my sweet "bannana". Hey 2 out of 3 is pretty good =)

Wow, I haven't posted on here for months. Must be bussy!!! Or just lazy haha!!

SPRING SOFTBALL IS ON!!!! YEY!!!! Jessica is looking solid out there on first and cracking the bat. Mark is managing Jessica's team this time around. It should be interesting, with Kris and Juan as his assistant coaches . . . the "Three Negativos" are coaching a team!!! LOL!!! Sorry, it's an "all-star" inside joke. Well, so far the team "Red Hot Chilli Peppers" (guess who came up with the name?) is 1 and 1. Third is game is tonight against a "big" rival . . . lol! I hope we win!!!

Sophia is working on her game too. She'll be spending more time the mound which always makes me nervous to watch. You know, if there's ever a perfect example of mind over matter, it's Sophia. I know she can play well, she's proved it many times. But when she gets mad at herself for a mistake, it gets in her head and she wont shake it off. And when that happens, put a fork in her..... she's done. I wish I could help her change that!!! Any suggestions?

And Iliana...... well, she's Iliana :-) She's just this big ball of energy out on the field. She's fast on her feet and LOVES to slide (just to get dirty). But if she gets on base, she's comming home, no doubt about it. By the way, we figured out Iliana's entire reason for playing softball....... the SNACKS!!!!! LOL!!!
