I look forward to Saturdays. My days off are spent watching and photographing my daughters: Iliana(she's almost 6 and plays 8&under), Jessica (she's 7 and plays 10&under) and Sophia [on the tag] (she's 11 and plays 12&under) playing fall ball at Imperial Beach. I love it! And more important, they love it!
They started playing in spring of '08 and immidiately after that ended, Jessica made the all-star team whick took us in to the summer. They then played summer in Chula Vista (Jessica was juggling two teams). When that ended, they started fall ball in IB again which should be over in mid November. So what's next? Spring '09 season of course!!!
Sophia has been asked by her school to join the junior high softball team (Ocean View Hills). It's just for 7th & 8th graders but they'll probably make an exception for her. Can she juggle two teams? Can I juggle two teams? Hmmmm... Mark coaches two teams (Jessica & Iliana's). Well one thing is for sure, they don't have time to get in trouble.... they're too tired. LOL!! Now if we can just get Iliana stop crying when she strikes out! And by the way, their grades are excellent! Man, are these my daughters? Athletic and smart?!?!?! Go figure :-)
